The Shuriken Oversized Pulley System was engineered for maximum performance and optimized drivetrain efficiency on any bike. By increasing pulley wheel diameter, the Shuriken system rotates at lower RPM, reducing the articulation angle of the chain and thereby minimizing drivetrain friction. The result is smoother, quieter, and more efficient power transfer—helping you ride faster and longer with less effort.

What is Conti-Wave?

Conti-Wave machining is a precision-engineered tooth profile technology designed to enhance drivetrain smoothness and quietness. The chain enters the derailleur at varying angles depending on gear position, and the Conti-Wave tooth profile—applied to the lower pulley—ensures consistent and stable chain engagement across all gears.

The continuously chamfered edges of each tooth reduce the contact surface area between the pulley and chain inner plates by 82.5%, minimizing noise, friction, and resistance while maintaining perfect chain tracking. The result is a drivetrain that runs quieter, cleaner, and more efficiently.

Premium Construction and Materials

Inside each Shuriken pulley are TBT ceramic bearings filled with specially developed ultra-light grease to further reduce drag and keep friction at an absolute minimum.

The carbon fiber cage combined with hardened steel and dura-aluminum hardware creates an ideal balance of strength, stiffness, and low weight. The dura-aluminum pulleys feature a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating for long-lasting, low-friction performance and a refined, premium aesthetic.
