<p><b>FindTape iGrip Tape</b> is an aesthetically pleasing, non-abrasive anti-slip material. It’s rubber-like touch and surface pattern make it soft to the touch while offering excellent grip levels. Ideal for enhancing grip on handheld electronic items while allowing for greater control and dexterity. The material also offers additional protection from damage.</p> <p>One of our aims for this material was to provide something completely free of phthalate plasticizers. These are chemicals which are used to change a plastics property to be more flexible. Companies use this method as it is cheaper, but at potential health risk to people. This was a reason why we wanted to provide a high-grade product that is safe to be used for medical equipment and children’s toys.</p> <p>iGrip Tape is made from a highly treated siliconized film with very low Shore hardness (A Shore durometer measures the hardness of materials such as polymers, elastomers and rubbers). Combine this with the hexagonally grouped bobble-emboss pattern and it has resulted in industrial levels of grip, without holding to restrict free movement. A permanent, non-aqueous pressure-sensitive coating is applied to the underside to provide a long-lasting bond.</p> <p>This specialized tape can also be used to protect web rollers from the buildup of adhesives, inks, coatings, and other materials in the adhesive tape manufacturing, general converting, printing, textiles and paper &amp; film industries. It is similar to the tape referred to as "printer's friend." By reducing buildup on idler, feed, and take-up rollers, the specially formulated adhesive on the tape minimizes residue upon removal minimizing the amount of roller clean up required when the tape is changed which extends the life of the roller itself.</p>
